If you are new to chiropractic care, you may have questions, such as:

What is a chiropractic adjustment?
Will it hurt?
Will I have to get tests done?
What questions should I ask my doctor?
What is expected in follow-up care?

Heading 1

The main goal of your first visit is to determine if you have a condition that Dr. Brooks can help you with.

A consultation gives you the opportunity to tell Dr. Brooks about your particular problem or condition. After fully listening to you, Dr. Brooks may ask you a series of questions to further evaluate your situation. If your situation is one which Dr. Brooks can help you with, you will move forward with an examination.

During the examination, a series of orthopedic and neurological tests will be performed. Dr. Brooks may request additional records or imaging. Once your condition is fully evaluated, Dr. Brooks will go over her recommendations. Your care may be tailored to initial pain relief or corrective care. Above all, Dr. Brooks will inform you of the best recommendations for your specific condition.

Once treatment goals are outlined, you might receive treatment the same day. Or, if additional records are needed, adjustments and treatments may be scheduled for another time.

Each process is explained, and patients are informed of the process BEFORE any treatment is given. This allows patients to prepare for their chiropractic adjustment, enabling the best result possible.
